The Canterbury Academy
Marathon Sports have been extremely supportive of the work we do within The Canterbury Academy to develop all of our students. They work closely with our Physical Education staff to help engage our students in Key Stage 3 through the expert delivery of after school coaching sessions and through curriculum delivery of athletics.
They run a professional athletics programme for sixth form students and regularly deliver specialist strength and conditioning sessions to students from our other elite sports academies. Their coaches are passionate about developing the potential in all of our students and they regularly support after school fixtures. They all have a genuine interest in the welfare of our students and will often go above and beyond in their efforts to help the young people they work with.
We value their input immensely due to the experience they have built up in their profession. Marathon Sports are one of our most loyal partners and they regularly support our functions and events.

The AASE Programme was invaluable in my career and the education I received from the programme allowed me to take huge steps forward in my sport and represent Team GB in the 2012 Olympics.
The knowledge I have gained from being a part of the AASE Programme has included, not only the physical, but the psychological, lifestyle, finance, nutritional and many other aspects of elite sport. I regularly return and speak at AASE Programme days to help educate and inspire the next generation of talented athletes.
