Marathon Sports Foundation was founded by PAUL EALES a former Great Britain endurance athlete who has been involved in leading a number of companies over many years.
What We Do
Marathon Sports Foundation is an approved Training Provider within the sport education sector, offering a wide range of support services with highly qualified professionals.
In the past 15 years Marathon Sports foundation has been dedicated to supporting young elite talent though qualified programmes which provide and develop the knowledge within a sports performance environment. Along with a range of sports qualifications Marathon Sports Foundation has achieved CPD certification of which a number of key sports related subjects will be launched in early 2021.
The Marathon Sports Foundation encourages and supports individuals of all ages to lead a healthy lifestyle. A programme for delivery through nursery and primary schools provides children with the information, understanding and guidance to make healthy choices in their daily nutrition and models a fun and simple way to make exercise a natural part of their daily lives.
This ethos is elementary in all of the training and qualifications delivered at secondary schools, county and national levels.

Founder - Paul Eales
Paul Eales is a former Great Britain endurance athlete who competed in most of the major marathons around the world and also attempted the running record from John O’Groats to Lands End on a solo run for charity.
Paul has been devoted to supporting young elite sporting talent through approved courses and qualifications via Marathon Sports Foundation of which Paul is founder and MD.
Marathon Sports Foundation is a training provider in sport education, additionally Marathon Sports Foundation created one of the first dedicated athletics academies for athletes to maintain their education alongside sporting potential in association with the Canterbury Academy who achieved Specialist Sports college status back in 2001. In 2006, Paul created the first pilot of the Advanced Apprenticeship in Sporting Excellence (AASE) for athletics, a qualification in Achieving Excellence in Sports Performance.
Marathon Sports Foundation has worked closely with devoted professionals in the creation of many key courses and qualifications directly related to sports performance which will help and support athletes and coaches across a wide spectrum of sports.
We are passionate in our endeavour with a fantastic team of people to deliver the Marathon Sports Foundation mission in supporting as many young people in health, fitness and sport education, this mission is extended to coaches and parents.
